Goodbye Singapore!

It's been almost 4 months now since we left Singapore. The few weeks before we left, we were treated to "cooler" temps, which made it nice for being out and we stayed busy visiting friends and saying all the goodbyes!
Before the movers came, we hosted a Friendsgiving. Not sure what we were thinking hosting this 2 days before the movers came, but we made it work and had a blast!

 

 




The movers packed everything up, and Emmeline was quite surprised to come home from school and see all the boxes. Keeping Cora entertained was more of a challenge, and thankfully Josie had her over for some play dates.

 

 

The goodbyes lasted all week, starting with goodbyes at school and Emmeline's dance CCA show. Stamford American was a really special school, and we all have some really great memories there!

 

 

 

 


Goodbyes continued with first friends we met in Singapore (Arthur and Naomi), best friends (Booths and Walkers), and everyone in between. We had a birthday party and school Christmas festival mixed in there, too.

 

 

 




It almost felt the last week in Singapore was a vacation in Singapore as we stayed with friends and in the awesome Marriott on Orchard. We enjoyed happy hour and bites every night in the lobby before the kids went to bed in their own room.

 

 


We even got to sneak out for on our last night to the Atlas Bar (one of the top 100 in Asia) for a little double date with Ryan and Melissa. Such a fun atmosphere and the drinks were also good. Great last night in Singapore before loading up aaaalllll the suitcases the next morning to head to the airport.

 

 


Changi airport never ceases to amaze, and Frozen II display allowed for a free photo shoot before we made to the lounge. As always, Emmeline enjoyed the warm towels on the airplane, and Nick and I cheered to our time in Singapore. While we miss the people we met in Singapore, the food, Emmeline's school, and the easy access to the pool, we are happy to be back in the US and near family. Singapore was a great part of our life, but it was time to come home. Until our next visit, lah!
