Calista's Wedding

 

Calista is one of our babysitters and our cleaning lady's daughter, so when she got married and asked Emmeline to be a flower girl, everyone was so excited. Especially Emmeline!



The venue, though hot, was beautiful, set on the northern shores of Singapore. There were lots of flower girls and ring bearers, but Emmeline took her job very seriously. She as not pleased when one of the ring bearers started throwing her petals during the actual ceremony, but she continued on and made the most of it.

 

 


The wedding was a mix of Western/Singaporean and Indian, and although we didn't stay for all of the dancing (wedding stated 1+ hour late), we did get to enjoy the Michael Jackson impersonator before we left!
