June Recap
Whew, June flew by and I didn't post any updates. We got out a fair number of times, here's what we were up to!
East Coast Park/Beach
These pictures make it look like it was a wonderful morning at the beach. Well, pictures can be deceiving. Emmeline cried and whined pretty much the whole morning due to a poor night's sleep the night before. Corabelle was even more fussy than normal that day. Total time spent on the beach? Probably about 30 minutes! Ha, maybe next time we will be a bit more successful!
Father's Day
We celebrated Nick at his favorite breakfast place and local haunt when he lived here for a month by himself. Super delicious, Tolido's Esspresso Nook. After a delicious brunch, we headed to Marina Barrage to fly a kite. Sadly, the wind wasn't quite strong enough that day to fly one, but we enjoyed the views and a little play time in the nearby water playground! Dinner was a delicious steak dinner, a rarity these days, as quality red meat is expensive and hard to come by!

Date Night
Nick and Ryan had hot pot one weekend a few nights back, so it was time that they brought Melissa and I with to experience it. Definitely a fun way to enjoy a meal! The entire street is filled with hot pot restaurants, so it was a fun people watching experience in addition to food experience!

Bird Park & Zoo
A few more trips to the bird park and zoo with friends and just us. We discovered new things both times, including how to get an up close and personal picture with the orangutans! Of course, the splash pads are the biggest hits for Emmeline!

Paw Patrol
Paw Patrol has become Emmeline's favorite show, so when we found out there was a free show at one of the malls, we had to attend. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was great, and I think Emmeline couldn't quite believe she was seeing them in person. After she and her friend Arthur enjoyed the show, we stuffed our faces at the local hawker center! :)
